First Forest Stewardship Council Forum

5th Forest Science Symposium

The Institute for Commercial Forestry Research and The South African Department off Agriculture, Forestry & Fisheries are proud to announce the co-hostiing of the 5th Forest Science Symposium.

This year we celebrate 100 years of Forest Research. In addition, the ICFR is turning 65. These two events will form part of our Symposium programme. In addition, as in the past, the event provides a unique opportunity for the Southern African forest community to interact and discuss research, creating an awareness of the work being caried out by industry, research and academic institutions.

Sabie Forest Fair 

Location: York Timbers Sports ground, Sabie, Mpumalanga, South Africa

South Africa's ONLY Forestry and Sawmilling exhibition.

The primary objective of the exhibition is to raise the profile of the forestry industry and related enterprises. While some companies will use the event to liaise with existing and potential customers others will launch new products and services into the local market. The timber growers will also present their social, environmental and educational upliftment programs.

The show brings together a broad spectrum of suppliers of forestry, loading, timber transport, sawmilling and value-adding equipment whom will showcase their products and services with static and live demonstrations in three arenas.
