Inaugural DANA International Timberlands Investment Conference

DANA has concluded that there is demand for an independently managed "education focussed" Conference in London for UK, European and international investors and fund managers in the timberlands asset class. DANA has sunchronised its 2013 Conference with IPD's "Alternative Real Estate Investment Conference" which will be held at the same venue on the 9th October. Precision Forestry Symposium

Location: Wallenberg Research Centre, Stellenbosch, Western Cape, South Africa

Precision Forestry (PF) 2014 will be the third of a series of international symposia aligned to the theme of Precision Forestry and presented by Stellenbosch University in cooperation with the International Union of Forest Research Organisation (IUFRO). This meeting will review recent developments in the rapidly advancing field of Precision Forestry. New technology for data collection, automation, robotics and ICT, makes it possible to manage forest operations and to control the supply chain, from growing through to and including processing, with a much higher precision than before. PF 2014 aims to connect the research within the relevant disciplines on an international level.
